Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population on a combined PCU, Oncology, and MedSurg unit
Monitor and manage patients on drips including heparin, cardizem, and protonix
Administer chemotherapy and support oncology patients from diagnosis to remission or end-of-life care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, maintaining high-quality care
Adhere to patient safety protocols and participate in hourly rounding for patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1-2 years of PCU or MedSurg experience (first-time travelers welcome)
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification preferred
EPIC experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing
Ability to titrate drips and monitor hemodynamics
Comfortable with ventilator management and continuous monitoring
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and diversity
