Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced MS-Tele float pool
• Float across multiple facilities within Zone 4, including Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, St. Catherine-Dodge City, and St. Catherine-Garden City
• Monitor telemetry and titrate heparin drips as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to different units and patient acuities, from general MS-Tele to specialty areas
• Mentor and support new staff and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Kansas (compact license accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Neuro and Alaris experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Proficiency in heparin titration and managing common titratable drips
• Excellent floating and adaptability skills across various care settings
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of adult-geriatric patient populations and common diagnoses
