Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 10-26-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Med/Tele/PCU unit
Monitor telemetry strips and interpret cardiac rhythms with precision
Titrate and manage critical drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, and more
Care for patients with cardiac conditions, post-cath procedures, sepsis, pneumonia, and acute chronic illnesses
Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses and patient care techs in a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Float to PCU or MS units as needed, providing full patient assignments when required

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience
Must be comfortable reading and interpreting telemetry strips
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry and cardiac care
Proficient in drip titration (Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, etc.)
Strong strip reading interpretation skills
Ability to manage PCU-level patients with confidence
Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
