Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, 3 weekend night shifts per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center
Monitor and manage complex drips, ventilators, and life-support equipment
Titrate medications such as Propofol, Levophed, and Heparin with precision
Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
Interpret cardiac rhythms autonomously and respond to changes swiftly
Float to other ICUs and telemetry units as needed to support team needs

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience (neuro or CV experience preferred)
Active RN license and ability to pass UNA Dysrhythmia Exam (max 2 attempts)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Successfully complete a pass/fail Sim Lab on orientation Day 1
Comfortable with floating to telemetry with 1:3 or 1:4 ratios

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titrating vasoactive drips and sedation
Experience with Level 1 trauma patients and post-surgical neuro/cardiac care
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Proficiency with Cerner charting system
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
