Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, days, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse and lead the nursing team during your shift
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care treatments and monitor healing progress
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care for a 26-bed long-term care facility
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PT and social services
Maintain accurate documentation using Matrix EMR system
Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of long-term care nursing experience required
Current BLS certification (must have upon start)
Ability to work every other weekend and every other major holiday
Willingness to float within the facility if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in medication administration and wound care
Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Matrix
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly to a new facility and patient population
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights
