CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Four 10-hour shifts with varying start times (7:30 AM-6:00 PM, 8:30 AM-7:00 PM, 9:30 AM-8:00 PM); every fourth weekend 6:00 AM-6:00 PM; one weekend of call per month. Alternative night shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:30 PM-6:00 AM.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans and X-rays using GE and Siemens equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Collaborate with radiologists to capture diagnostic-quality images
Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including artificial nail policy

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Certified CT Technologist (ARRT CT) required
Valid driver's license to verify residency outside 50-mile radius
Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CT scanning and X-ray techniques
Familiarity with GE and Siemens CT scanners
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting
Knowledge of radiology safety standards and accreditation requirements
