IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts, rotating day off; on-call 4-5 weeknights and 1 weekend per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complex interventional radiology procedures including ports, CVC placements, embolizations, thrombectomies, and Y-90 treatments
Collaborate with radiologists and cath lab team to ensure high-quality patient care
Operate state-of-the-art Phillips imaging equipment and PACS systems
Float to cath lab as needed to support interventional procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Interventional Radiology
Active ARRT (R) certification required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA
Cath Lab experience highly preferred but not required
Willingness to take call and work weekends/holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in interventional radiology procedures and equipment
Experience with PACS and EPIC electronic medical records
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
