Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity and compassion
Support nursing staff by monitoring resident condition and reporting changes promptly
Provide safe, respectful personal care, including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance
Document care provided accurately and timely to maintain continuity
Engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities to promote well-being
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and team members

Qualifications

Current GNA certification or equivalent (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working with older adults and residents with complex needs
Background check and health screening (immunizations) required
Reliable, compassionate, and a strong team player

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (required); completion of an accredited GNA program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident-centered approach
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, documentation, ADL assistance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle physically active role with safe body mechanics
Positive attitude, patience, and respect for resident dignity
