Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiologic procedures using prescribed techniques, adjusting equipment settings for optimal imaging
• Prepare rooms and position patients, including arranging immobilization and support devices
• Administer contrast materials and manage supplies needed for procedures
• Maintain high standards of radiation protection to minimize exposure for patients and staff
• Perform daily cleaning and routine diagnostic testing and maintenance on imaging equipment
• Complete quality control tasks and maintain quality control reports for performed procedures
• Handle scheduling and general office duties such as answering phones and filing to keep the department running smoothly
• Respond to call assignments and provide reliable coverage as needed

Qualifications

• ARRT registered (Radiologic Technologist required)
• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program
• CT certification and a minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• MRI certification preferred but not required
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area

• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in Computed Tomography (CT) operation and imaging protocols
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection techniques
• Ability to perform quality control checks and maintain accurate records
• Comfortable with patient positioning and patient care during imaging procedures
• Experience with contrast administration and equipment maintenance
• Good communication and clerical skills for scheduling and patient interactions
• Team-oriented with the ability to handle call assignments and variable schedules
