Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and MRI procedures following established protocols to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear procedural explanations to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
• Practice radiation safety and adhere to ALARA standards at all times.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; escalate to service engineers when needed.
• Accurately document patient records, charges, and procedure details in the EHR and related systems.
• Assist with fluoroscopy, X-ray, C-arm, and OR imaging as required; support clinic operations including clerical tasks and patient transport.
• Train and cross-train imaging staff, contributing to a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.
• Participate in regulatory compliance, safety, infection control, and departmental performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with CT and MRI certifications required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI experience.
• Preferred cross-training in DEXA and Mammography; experience with PACS and RIS/HIS a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if position requires driving), legally authorized to work in the U.S., and able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on skills in CT and MRI image acquisition and patient positioning.
• Solid radiography and fluoroscopy knowledge, including C-arm and OR imaging.
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and ALARA practices.
• Comfortable using EHRs, PACS, and RIS/HIS for documentation and image management.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and coordinate service when necessary.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills; able to work independently and in a team.
