Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and dignity
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and timely charting
• Follow infection control protocols and facility safety policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support care goals

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of California
• At least basic hands-on experience caring for patients in a clinical setting preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing dependable, compassionate care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with activities of daily living
• Knowledge of basic infection control practices and safety procedures
• Ability to take and document accurate vital signs
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records is a plus
• Physical stamina for lifting, transferring, and long periods of standing
