Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Take and document vital signs and report changes in patient condition
Support safe patient transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to infection control policies
Create a comfortable environment that promotes patient safety and recovery

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and hygiene practices
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and control procedures
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
Time management and attention to detail
