Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care to patients, promoting comfort and dignity
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and maintain fall-prevention measures
Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver coordinated care
Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Georgia (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB test as required by facility
Clear background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care and ADL assistance
Reliable vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
Basic charting and electronic documentation skills
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time on shift
