Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policy
• Support safe patient transfers and use of assistive devices
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver cohesive care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
• Valid CNA credentials in California or ability to practice in the state
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but welcoming to dedicated new CNAs

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Comfortable with patient transfers and mobility assistance
• Good observational skills and ability to report changes clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and families
• Familiarity with documentation standards and basic charting
