Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate overnight care and support to patients with dignity
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations
- Practice infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and caring for patients during night hours
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and safe transfer techniques
- Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
- Accurate charting and attention to detail for patient records
- Infection control best practices and adherence to facility policies
- Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with care teams
