Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an OTR to help patients regain independence
Perform ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and functional task practice to improve daily living skills
Collect and document objective patient data, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and on time
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and adjust individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on home programs, safety strategies, and use of adaptive equipment
Maintain a safe, organized treatment environment and ensure equipment is used and stored properly

Qualifications

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) — required
Comfortable working Monday through Friday daytime schedule
Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and team collaboration
Reliable professional demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of ADL/IADL training and adaptive techniques
Skilled in activity-based therapeutic interventions and documentation
Ability to follow treatment plans and modify activities based on patient response
Teamwork and effective communication with OTRs, nurses, and other rehab staff
Basic knowledge of safety precautions and equipment handling
