Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately and compassionately to support diagnostic care
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens scanners to ensure high-quality image acquisition
• Manage imaging studies in Merge PACS and document findings in EPIC for seamless patient records
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality control procedures to protect patients and staff
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain exams clearly, and monitor patient comfort and safety
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond professionally to urgent imaging needs

Qualifications

• Current credential/registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (per facility/state requirements)
• Experience working with EPIC and Merge PACS (explicitly required)
• Familiarity operating Siemens imaging equipment (explicitly required)
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and rotating call schedule
• Strong patient-care focus, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail

Education

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Associate degree or certificate preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record workflows
• Hands-on experience with Merge PACS for image review and management
• Operational knowledge of Siemens nuclear medicine scanners
• Solid understanding of radiation safety, QC procedures, and DICOM/PACS principles
• Patient preparation and monitoring for nuclear medicine studies
