Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythms and patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and document findings clearly in the patient chart
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
• Escalate clinical concerns and participate in handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active LPN or LVN license (eligible to practice in the assignment state)
• Telemetry experience — demonstrated ability to monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant nursing experience as indicated in the job posting
• Current basic life support (BLS) per facility requirements (verify at onboarding)
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• LPN/LVN diploma or practical nursing certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Accurate medication administration and documentation
• Clear communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting
