Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and according to established protocols
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with care
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure equipment is calibrated
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media needed for testing
• Maintain accurate records of test results and manage data in the LIS
• Follow SOPs and laboratory safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with laboratory and healthcare teams to ensure high quality patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience using laboratory information systems (LIS) for accurate data entry and retrieval
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Phlebotomy or hospital setting experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Sample collection and blood sampling best practices
• Hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood banking
• Laboratory equipment operation and routine maintenance
• Reagent preparation and lab solution handling
• Quality control procedures and SOP adherence
• Data management and use of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
• Laboratory safety protocols and record keeping
• Good communication and teamwork skills
