Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist interventional cardiology team during cardiac catheterization and related procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Prepare, calibrate, and operate imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) and maintain sterile field during cases
• Manage procedural supplies and instrumentation for PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI and IR cases
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Monitor and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment, including panning x-ray table operation when required
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to provide compassionate patient care and seamless handoffs
• Coach and mentor junior staff and newer techs to build a stronger, more confident team

Qualifications

• RCIS required (panning x-ray table operation required)
• ARRT, BLS and ACLS required
• Interventional cath lab experience required (experience: 1 year)
• Comfortable with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab strongly preferred
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and occasional Saturday cases
• Team-player attitude with a willingness to teach and mentor junior staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional cardiology workflows
• Experience with EP, PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI and neuro/IR cases is a plus
• Proficient with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• Skilled in operating Philips and Siemens imaging equipment and panning x-ray tables
• Strong communication, situational awareness, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced procedural environment
