Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients thoroughly under orders from the referring physician, using objective assessment techniques to identify deficits and goals
Develop individualized treatment programs that use a variety of therapeutic procedures and modalities to restore muscle strength, range of motion, coordination, and body alignment
Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions to control pain and improve movement and function
Document patient status, progress, and treatment plans clearly and timely in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Collaborate with referring physicians and the care team to coordinate treatment, modify plans as needed, and ensure continuity of care
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, injury prevention, and strategies to maximize functional outcomes
Adhere to the California State Practice Act and facility policies to maintain safe, compliant, and professional care

Qualifications

Current CA Physical Therapist License (required)
Ability to evaluate patients and develop appropriate treatment programs using therapeutic procedures and modalities
Comfort working under orders from a referring physician and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and commitment to patient-centered care
Full-time availability for day shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and clinical assessment
Treatment program development and treatment planning
Therapeutic procedures and modalities
Pain management strategies
Range of motion and muscle strengthening techniques
Coordination training and body alignment interventions
Familiarity with State Practice Act and rehabilitation principles
Ability to work effectively with physicians and care teams
