Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide and administer safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to med/surg patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and interpret data to identify age-specific needs
• Carry out nursing procedures in accordance with hospital policies and best practices
• Document care accurately and timely in Cerner EMR to support continuity and quality
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and adjust patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and intervene appropriately to ensure safety and positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans with empathy

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Colorado (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• BSN preferred
• Prefer two years of RN experience; ER RN experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills

Education

• BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/Surg nursing expertise and strong patient assessment skills
• Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan
• Familiarity with nursing procedures and hospital policy compliance
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and electronic documentation
• Critical thinking, prioritization, and effective communication
• Ability to work independently on night shift while collaborating with the care team
