Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies including ABI, carotid, renal, abdominal, venous and arterial exams
• Conduct lower extremity reflux studies and other specialized vascular procedures accurately and efficiently
• Document findings thoroughly in MediTech Expanse and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Operate and maintain GE ultrasound equipment to ensure excellent image quality
• Manage your own schedule and prioritize cases as a self-starter able to work independently
• Provide compassionate patient education and maintain 1:1 patient attention during studies
• Participate in on-call rotation (every other weekend) and respond professionally to urgent requests

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Must be registered in the state of New Hampshire (NH state registration) — required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — preferred
• Experience with GE ultrasound systems and MediTech Expanse — preferred
• Approximately 2 years of relevant vascular sonography experience preferred
• Self-starter who can manage complex studies and schedules independently

Education

• Completion of an accredited vascular sonography or diagnostic medical sonography program preferred
• RVT certification required; ARDMS/RDMS credentials are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in vascular sonography techniques (ABI, carotids, renal, abdominal imaging)
• Proficiency with venous and arterial Doppler studies and lower extremity reflux testing
• Comfort using GE ultrasound equipment and performing quality control
• Familiarity with MediTech Expanse for accurate documentation
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment and manage a 1:1 patient ratio
