Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Position patients with care and professionalism to ensure accurate imaging
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to support timely diagnosis
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging records in PACS and electronic systems
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to ease patient concerns

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (or eligible) preferred
• Valid state radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain temporary licensure)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology or hospital imaging departments
• Strong patient-care skills and professional communication

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with x-ray and digital imaging equipment
• Knowledge of patient positioning and exposure techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and radiology information systems
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, rotating-shift environments
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
