Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the radiology program and lead day-to-day operations to ensure smooth, high-quality imaging services.
• Track incoming radiology studies to ensure proper submission, timely reporting, and accurate documentation.
• Provide hands-on PACS training and support to staff to keep workflows efficient and error-free.
• Manage routine and regulatory equipment maintenance and inspections, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Create, maintain, and enforce radiology policies and procedures that meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the radiation protection monitoring program and ensure staff safety and compliance.
• Work with finance to maintain the radiology chargemaster and identify opportunities for improved revenue capture.
• Ensure all quality assurance and quality control activities are completed and documented.
• Supervise radiology staff, perform timely evaluations, and ensure competency and training for all exam types performed.
• Prepare required reports, manage lead apron testing, and assist with radiology transcription issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
• Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required
• Registered Mammographer preferred
• Registered Ultrasound Technologist preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 5 years experience in Radiology Management and supervision
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiology Technologist
• PACS training required
• CT technologist experience preferred; MRI technologist experience preferred
• Knowledge of MQSA requirements and federal/state/accreditation regulations related to radiology services

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
