Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ functional abilities and craft individualized, evidence-based OT treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapy and adaptive training to improve daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions
• Document progress clearly and timely, using facility-required systems and best practices
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, adaptive equipment, and safety strategies
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that champions dignity and outcomes

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or eligible for California licensure
• Clinical experience in occupational therapy; prior travel/contract experience is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; adaptable to varied settings and caseloads

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (entry-level Master's, OTD, or equivalent) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ADL/IADL assessment and intervention planning
• Experience with adaptive equipment, splinting, and mobility training
• Skilled in goal setting, outcome measurement, and patient education
• Comfortable collaborating with PTs, SLPs, nurses, and case managers
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic charting
