Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform screening mammography exams with care and precision to support early detection of breast cancer
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment while following manufacturer guidance and safety protocols
• Ensure image quality and compliance by following ACR and MQSA standards for imaging and documentation
• Conduct mammography quality assurance activities to maintain program excellence
• Provide compassionate patient care, prioritizing comfort and clear communication throughout the exam
• Accurately document procedures and findings to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to optimize patient experience and diagnostic outcomes

Qualifications

• ARRT certification with advanced mammography credentials (required)
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with mammography quality assurance and mammography equipment operation
• Strong patient communication skills with a focus on comfort and safety
• Ability to follow ACR and MQSA standards and facility policies
