Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through proper positioning, communication, and monitoring during exams
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support timely diagnostic workflows
• Complete required Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists as part of credentialing
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform basic QC checks, and report issues promptly
• Verify patient identity and required health screenings, and ensure compliance with facility policies
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through professional, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Current ARRT registration (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Valid Oregon radiologic technologist license (required)
• Hands-on CT and X-ray tech experience (required)
• Willingness and ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Successful completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings: fit test, drug screen, immunizations and TB testing
• License/certificate verification as part of onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of CT and X-ray imaging protocols and patient positioning
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and perform basic quality control checks
• Comfortable with imaging documentation and accurate record-keeping
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
