Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents during the night shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor patient status, report changes, and collaborate with the care team
- Perform admissions, discharges, and bedside assessments with attention to detail
- Support care plans and participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity
- Assist with wound care, IVs as applicable, and basic clinical procedures
- Maintain a safe, sanitary environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing for New Mexico or compact state eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior LPN experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
- Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting best practices
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond to changing patient needs
- Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and clinical procedures
- Good time management and the ability to work independently on night shift
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
