Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention practices during night shift hours
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident’s individualized care plan is followed
Qualifications
- Valid GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in geriatric or long-term care settings is a plus
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach to care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic elder care practices and activities of daily living
- Skill in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observations
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and escalate concerns appropriately
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
