Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the evening shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
- Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with nursing staff and facility clinicians to support care plans
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (must be in good standing; Maryland licensure preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Comfortable with medication administration, documentation, and basic assessments
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing fundamentals and clinical best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in electronic charting and accurate documentation
- Understanding of infection control and patient safety protocols
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
