Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not provided)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to geriatric residents
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff promptly
- Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
- Support mealtime assistance and basic feeding needs when required
- Collaborate with the care team to promote resident dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- Previous experience caring for older adults strongly preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background check
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and best practices
- Skilled in assistance with ADLs and safe resident transfers
- Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
- Infection control and hand hygiene practices
- Accurate charting and time management
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience
