Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to promote independence
• Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support meal assistance and feeding while monitoring dietary needs
• Maintain resident dignity and privacy while delivering personal care
• Document care activities and observations clearly and promptly
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and working with diverse patient needs
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care procedures and vital sign measurement
• Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Familiarity with infection control practices and hygiene standards
• Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
