Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days vary (per diem), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Document patient observations and care given in a clear, timely manner
Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
Support effective communication with patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient transfers as needed
Willingness to complete required facility onboarding (background check, immunizations, TB screening)
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and safety
Basic infection control practices
Familiarity with documenting care and simple charting
Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition
Teamwork, time management, and dependable work habits
