Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team
- Support safe and timely transfers, ambulation, and positioning
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with team members
- Follow infection prevention and facility safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
- Comfortable working an evening 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift on a per-diem basis
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-centered attitude
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and any facility onboarding requirements
Education
- CNA certificate or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety procedures
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
- Ability to observe, record, and report resident status changes clearly
- Compassionate bedside manner and good interpersonal skills
