Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team
- Document care delivered accurately and timely in the patient record
- Support meal service and assist with safe feeding when needed
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to promote resident comfort and safety
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Comfortable working evening shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; successful completion of an approved CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and personal care techniques
- Vital signs measurement and reporting changes appropriately
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
- Time management and reliable documentation habits
