Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop person-centered care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Provide and coordinate nursing care in both individual and group behavioral health settings
• Deliver compassionate patient and family education, including discharge and aftercare planning
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu for patients and staff
• Document, report, and verify clinical information accurately according to policy
• Monitor for safety risks and promptly communicate concerns to the physician team
• Function as a clinical leader by delegating, coordinating assignments, and promoting staff development
• Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing protocols and suggesting enhancements
• Assist with medication oversight and physical health monitoring as needed
• Model the mission, values, and professional standards of the organization

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license at time of submission (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience (required)
• Demonstrated ability to lead clinically, including charge nurse responsibilities
• Strong documentation, communication, and time-management skills
• Willingness to complete and maintain annual programmatic training and competencies
• Commitment to compassionate, recovery-focused, person-centered care
