Shift Type: Day shifts (weekday schedule), 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour day shifts, 36-hour guaranteed weekly). Evening on-call 1-2 times/week with a 30-minute response requirement; weekend 24-hour call two weekends per month (every other weekend).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform fluoroscopic imaging and assist with Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab procedures with precision and calm under pressure
• Scrub and provide hands-on procedural support during cardiac catheterizations, EP studies, pacemaker and defibrillator cases
• Prepare and manage equipment including GE MacLab and chart in Meditech/Cerner to ensure accurate patient records
• Assist with vascular access procedures such as PICC and central line placements and Swan-Ganz management
• Respond to on-call activations promptly (30-minute response) and support weekend 24-hour call coverage as scheduled
• Maintain patient safety and sterile technique while monitoring vital signs and procedural needs
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist — ARRT (R) required
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• BLS (AHA) required and ACLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience
• Scrub experience in Cath Lab/IR environments
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities, evening responses, and weekend coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and interventional imaging techniques
• Cardiac catheterization and Cath Lab workflows
• EP study support and pacemaker/defibrillator procedures
• PICC, central line and Swan-Ganz familiarity
• Scrub techniques and sterile procedural assistance
• Experience with GE MacLab, Meditech and Cerner charting systems
• Strong patient monitoring and critical thinking during procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
