Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (approximately 12.5-hour shift). Weekend coverage required: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. On-call rotation: 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms to identify urgent changes and prioritize care
• Monitor a high volume of patients reliably and maintain vigilance across multiple telemetry streams
• Build accurate end-of-shift reports and manage patient adds/discharges in GE Carescape
• Communicate clearly and promptly with floor staff using desktop phone and iPhone application
• Maintain detailed call logs and documentation to support continuity of care
• Multi-task across monitoring, documentation, and staff communication while staying calm under pressure
• Contribute to organized shift handoffs and support a positive team atmosphere

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in telemetry or remote monitoring
• Telemetry competent and able to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Proficient typing and basic computer skills; comfortable using iPhone applications and desktop phone systems
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work a high-volume monitoring environment
• Ability to write and understand English clearly
• Preferred: CNA or cardiac nursing background, medical terminology knowledge, ECG Board Certification, and prior GE monitoring experience
