Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Conduct timely patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the chart
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning when appropriate
- Maintain infection control standards and promote a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Hampshire (or eligible to obtain one)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working independently in a per diem setting and adapting to variable assignments
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Current CPR and other facility-mandated certifications as required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
- LPN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills (vital signs, wound care, ADL support)
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
- Basic infection control and safety procedures
