Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and accurately document residents’ vital signs and changes in condition
- Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and fall prevention
- Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, and individual preferences at all times
Qualifications
- Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification appropriate for the region
- Able to work the posted night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a per diem basis
- Comfortable with hands-on patient care and basic clinical tasks
- Reliable, professional, and ready to join a patient-centered care team
- Willing to complete facility onboarding, background check, and any required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant/LNA program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe resident handling, ADL assistance
- Clear documentation and communication with the nursing team
- Infection control and safe work practices
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
