Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care and activities accurately and timely in the resident record
- Support safe transfers and fall-prevention measures using proper techniques
- Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (VT or NH eligibility noted)
- Active state registration as required for assignment
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) in a per-diem model
- Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-first attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to step in as part of a collaborative team
Education
- Completion of an approved LNA program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
- Basic infection control and hygiene practices
- Accurate documentation and time management
- Ability to follow care plans and delegations from licensed nurses
- Clear verbal communication with residents, families, and team members
- Compassionate approach to supporting residents with diverse needs
