Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to patients in a secure facility
• Observe and document patient behavior, progress, and any safety concerns
• Assist with daily living tasks and therapeutic activities under supervision
• Support implementation of treatment plans and follow care team guidance
• Participate in the two-week orientation and ongoing training sessions
• Communicate clearly and professionally with interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) credential in California
• Availability to work the assigned schedule: Saturday through Wednesday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Willingness to complete the provided two-week training prior to full assignment start
• Comfort working in a correctional/behavioral health setting such as CIW

• Strong observational skills and accurate documentation practices
• Calm, professional de-escalation and crisis awareness
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork with clinical staff
• Basic therapeutic support skills and ability to follow treatment plans
• Time management and the ability to maintain safety standards
