Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care on each shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor and document vital signs, behaviors, and clinical changes
• Support residents with activities of daily living and mobility needs
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care staff to deliver coordinated care
• Report changes in condition and escalate concerns to the appropriate clinician
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and charting
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep residents safe

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts LPN or RN license in good standing
• BLS/CPR certification (current)
• Ability to provide safe, professional care in a long-term care setting
• Comfortable working independently on per diem assignments
• Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is preferred but not required

Education

• LPN: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program and MA LPN license
• RN: Diploma or Associate degree in Nursing and MA RN license
• High school diploma or GED as a minimum education foundation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and observation skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic knowledge of wound care, infection control, and ADL assistance
• Time management and adaptability for varying per diem schedules
• Compassionate approach to resident-centered care
