Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Per Diem; days vary)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents during the night shift
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Perform regular patient assessments and document changes in condition clearly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
Monitor vitals, manage alarms, and respond promptly to urgent needs
Support rehabilitation goals and assist with ADLs as needed
Maintain accurate, timely electronic and paper charting while following facility protocols

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of practice (LPN) — new grads encouraged to apply if licensed)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to work independently on night shifts and escalate concerns appropriately

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN) or equivalent credential

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and monitoring of adult patients
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with infection control and wound care principles
Comfortable with electronic health records and timely charting
Team collaboration and effective handoff communication
