Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and document patient status, changes and responses to care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and follow care plans
Educate residents and families on care, medications and safety
Support a positive, person-centered environment that promotes dignity and recovery

Qualifications

Current and active LPN or RN license in Massachusetts
Recent experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Demonstrated ability to document accurately and communicate effectively
Reliable, professional, and committed to quality patient care

Education

LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and patient observation skills
Medication administration and documentation proficiency
Comfortable with electronic health records and charting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced setting
