Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, night shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care with compassion and professional skill
Administer medications and treatments accurately according to orders
Assess resident conditions and document changes clearly and promptly
Collaborate with nursing colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to plan care
Support resident hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities as needed
Communicate with families and facility staff to promote resident well-being
Follow facility policies and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Massachusetts (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Previous long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to pass facility background checks and required screenings
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality care

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Current Massachusetts LPN license

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and infection control principles
Comfortable using electronic health records and charting systems
Resident assessment, delegation, and care planning skills
Time management in fast-paced clinical environments
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
