Location: Breckenridge, MN

Candidate Pay Rate: $50.4 - $50.4 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide advanced life support and emergency medical care to patients in need
Assess patient condition quickly and make informed treatment decisions
Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment safely and effectively
Communicate clearly with hospital staff, patients and families to coordinate care
Document patient care accurately and complete required reports in a timely manner
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications

Current Paramedic (EMT-P) certification or equivalent
Minnesota state paramedic licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
Current BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred or will be supported
Valid driver license and good driving record as required by employer policy
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Clinical experience in emergency medical services preferred

Education

Graduation from an accredited Paramedic training program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize in high-pressure situations
Proficiency with ALS equipment and emergency medications
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
Comfortable with documentation systems and electronic patient records
