Roles & Responsibilities

Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT, helping residents regain independence
Monitor patient progress closely and communicate meaningful changes to the care team
Maintain accurate, state- and facility-compliant documentation to ensure quality care and regulatory adherence

Qualifications

Active California COTA license (required)
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
SNF experience preferred but not required
Ability to follow OT treatment plans and maintain documentation standards

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of occupational therapy practices in a skilled nursing facility
Skilled at implementing therapy plans and adapting interventions based on patient response
Proficient in monitoring progress and communicating clinical updates
Familiarity with state and facility documentation requirements
