Candidate Pay Rate: $45.5 - $45.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity
Support functional mobility and lead therapeutic exercise interventions
Document treatment sessions accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate resident care
Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment that supports recovery and quality of life

Qualifications

Active California COTA license required
Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (as required for COTA licensure)
Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric care preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with residents and care teams
Reliable documentation skills and attention to detail

Education

Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (Associate degree or equivalent) required for COTA licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and promoting independence
Knowledge of functional mobility techniques and safe transfer procedures
Experience implementing therapeutic exercises and activity-based interventions
Familiarity with clinical documentation and treatment note standards
Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly with residents and families
